Practice Area

Ms. Adymy’s practice largely involves medical and hospital malpractice defense, healthcare providers and physician practice group defense, and appellate practice. She has successfully advocated for clients before the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Judicial Department; the New York State Court of Appeals; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Ms. Adymy has also represented clients in various areas of the law, including: legal malpractice, professional disciplinary matters, employment law, premises liability, labor law liability, and the defense of §1983 civil rights actions brought by prisoners.




Ms. Adymy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Faculty of Law and Jurisprudence. While a student at the law school, she was a member of the Buffalo Law Review and in her senior year was a Note and Comment Editor for that publication.

Ms. Adymy is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and before Western District Court for New York.  Ms. Adymy is a member of the New York Bar Association and the Bar Association of Erie County.

Prior to working at Gibson McAskill & Crosby, Ms. Adymy practiced at Roach, Brown, McCarthy & Gruber, P.C., for twenty-six years.

Community Involvement

Since her graduation, Ms. Adymy has assisted UB law students in various ways, including participating in a program designed to sharpen students’ resume and interview skills, and acting as a judge in the school’s research and writing program and trial technique class. Ms. Adymy has also remained active in the local community, where she has participated in the Lawyers for Learning tutoring program at School 18 in the City of Buffalo. She has also worked with the New York State Board of Law Examiners in grading essays written for the New York State Bar Exam.
